Account Manager, Software Services

EGSSIS is one of the leading Service providers for players in the European energy markets,  working with 55+ companies across Europe to keep the lights & heating on across 16+ countries since 2008. Their intuitive Software-as-a-Service platform allows companies to manage their Gas & Power operations. While their dispatching team is ready to assist clients 24/7 with their operations, to keep the electricity and gas flowing.
Meanwhile their developers keep improving the software and their sales & marketing team works hard to acquire new customers, as well as keeping our existing customers happy.
EGSSIS is based in Aalst, right in the middle between Brussels & Gent, with sales offices in Paris and Kassel (Germany).

Description de la fonction

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will play an essential role, as you will have a direct impact on the growth across Belgium, the Netherlands, UK & Ireland, and potential other markets in Western-Europe. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
  • Analyzing specific target groups and new market opportunities that could further support the growth of the business.
  • Create visibility in the market and become top of mind to potential new clients by building relations.
  • Create trust and long term relationships thanks to your presence in the market and your flexibility.
  • Participate in relevant fairs and other promotional events and take relevant marketing initiatives.
  • Track trends and developments in the market and respond to them.
  • You are based in the HQ in Aalst, but you are prepared to travel 10% of your time to European clients.


  • You have a bachelor’s degree and minimum 2-3 years experience in B2B sales. Knowledge of the gas & power industry or experience in selling software are a big plus.
  • You have a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • You are familiar with core ideas from modern sales methodologies such as value selling, SPIN-selling, the challenger sale, consultative selling, etc.
  • You are able to work autonomously and you have an entrepreneurial mindset with excellent time management skills.
  • You’re fluent in English. Dutch or French are a plus. Knowledge of other European languages is nice to have.
