IT Industrial Engineer - Responsibilities
- Collaborate with industrial engineers, operations managers, and IT professionals to assess current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Design and implement digital solutions, such as IoT devices, automation systems, and data analytics platforms, to enhance efficiency and productivity on the factory floor.
- Develop and maintain real-time monitoring systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify potential bottlenecks or issues in the production process.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to derive actionable insights from manufacturing data, enabling data-driven decision-making and process improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our manufacturing operations and recommending innovative solutions.
Profiel
IT Industrial Engineer - Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in both industrial engineering and information technology roles, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and IT systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems, IoT technologies, and digital manufacturing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and disciplines.
- Full Proficiency in English with knolwedge in French or Dutch.
