Managing People in an International Environment is a hands-on training programme, highly interactive with exercises and role plays. The programme will be led by an experienced facilitator with former management experience in international companies.

This programme is delivered in a blended format: including pre-work activities, interaction and post-training action planning.


4 Programme Modules:

Pre-WorkIncludes 1 online assessment (DISC) and some self-study including reading and videos.

1 - You as a People Manager  
• Expectations from your senior management and from your own team 
• Workplace Trends - what is happening in companies today?
• Emotional Intelligence - what is it? How does it effect your role? 
• Context of your Job: strategic goals and priorities 
• Teams Diversity: personal styles, cultural differences, generation differences and organizational culture 
• Evening Assignment: you will have some work to do in the evening. 

2 -  Building a High Performance Team

• Competencies (knowledge, skills, behaviour) and how can you manage them. 
• Interviewing new candidates.
• On-boarding and inductions for new employees and team members.

3 -  Managing Performance

The course content will include the following assessments: 
• DISC online self-assessment 
• Learning Styles assessment (based on Honey & Mumford's 4 learning styles)

Post-Training Activities:
Following this course, participants will need to: 
• Create a personal action plan of 3 learning points to implement when they are back at work.
