Senior Legal Counsel - Brussels - EN/NL
Functieomschrijving
- Review and interpret tender documentation (public and private) to identify key legal and contractual risks
- Draft, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of agreements, including partnerships, service, and construction-related contracts
- Provide clear, practical legal guidance to internal teams on issues involving contract law, obligations, and public procurement
- Support dispute management and claim resolution processes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align legal, commercial, and technical objectives
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement
Profiel
- Holds a Master's degree in Law
- Has at least 8 years of relevant experience as a lawyer and/or in-house counsel
- Expertise or interest in contract law, public procurement, and project-related transactions
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a pragmatic mindset
- Strong sense of initiative, adaptability, and collaboration
- Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage
