Lawyer (min 4 years) - EU & UK Sanctions - Brussels
Functieomschrijving
As a Lawyer in EU & UK Sanctions, your responsibilities are:
- Providing expert legal advice on EU and UK sanctions regulations and compliance matters
- Represent clients before EU Courts and collaborate with counsel across Member States.
- Assisting clients in interpreting and implementing sanctions-related policies.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to sanctions compliance.
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in sanctions regulations.
- Advising on cross-border transactions and their compliance with sanctions laws.
- Providing training and guidance on sanctions-related issues to clients and colleagues.
Profiel
A successful Lawyer - EU & UK Sanctions should have:
- A law degree with a specialization or focus on EU and UK sanctions or international law.
- At least 4 years of experience in EU and UK Sanctions Law (mandatory criteria)
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
