Mission and Key Tasks
Providing HR guidance to the local HR managers of different plants and also act as local HR manager for the HQ.
Translating and implementing corporate HR policies
Managing payroll HQ employees and complex payroll systems as splits, detachments & expats including personnel budgets
Responsible for personnel administration, maintain employees files and the HR filling system, in- & out, onboarding, contracts, insurances, documents, interim admin and Belgian fleet
Responsible for recruitment of HQ employees, as well as following up on exists
Maintaining excellent employee relations and advising management on personnel issues
Improving and monitoring performance and development management, by acting as sparring partner for the management teams and by giving the necessary tools for training, development and performance management
Leading and developing the local HR team
Giving advice, providing help to HQ employees on all psychological aspects. Assisting in looking for a solution.
Ensure compliance with Belgian Labor laws and policies
Ensure equal treatment of the employees across the 3 Belgian sites
Leading and developing the local HR Managers
Align the social strategy across the 2 plants
Searching for efficiencies across Belgian (HR) teams
Standardization of processes and procedures
Master degree or equivalent through experience
7+ years of experience within an international, fast-paced and customer driven environment, preferably FMCG
Good knowledge of Belgian labor law and social legislation
Strong generalist HR experience (organization design, performance management, competency and career management, change management, talent development…)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with the ability to network effectively up across the business
Good strategic and customer/service oriented mindset
Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong change management skills
Able to inspire trust
Creative and proactive with a desire to drive continuous improvement
Optimistic, can-do and hands-on attitude
Fluent in Dutch and English
