Your Mission and Responsibilities as Financial Analyst:As a Senior Financial Analyst at EDFI MC, you will play a pivotal role within our finance department, overseeing the administration of our diverse portfolio of 20 funds and guarantee schemes. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing investment transaction records, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with valuation and accounting standards.
Autonomously running financial reporting processes, analysing portfolio data, and identifying key trends.
Reviewing data workflows, enhancing data architecture, and leading data-related improvement projects.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure seamless operations.

Profiel

Your Profile as Financial Analyst:

We welcome candidates with a solid foundation in accounting/finance, preferably with at least 7 years of experience. While expertise in GL accounting, financial statement preparation, financial accounting, equity management, financial auditing, asset management, and knowledge of Fair Value principles and IFRS 9 standards are advantageous, we prioritize candidates who exhibit transferrable skills and a keen interest in further developing their capabilities within the scope of this role. Proficiency in data management and IT systems, coupled with operational expertise in database management. The right candidate should be IT savvy and a ready to utilize available IT systems (such as MS Office, Excel, Power BI, VBA, Python, and more) to handle data efficiently, effectively, and accurately.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take the lead to meet goals.
Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Alignment with our development finance purpose and possession of a valid work permit for Belgium with fluency in English.
