CLL Language Centres, a non-profit organisation created by Catholic University of Louvain (UCLouvain) 40 years ago, organises language training for companies, public institutions, adults, children and teenagers. CLL wishes to enlist the services of a (M/F/X)
PEDAGOGICAL QUALITY ADVISOR – B2B department (Open-ended contract. Start date: asap, full-time position mainly based in Brussels). CLL Business department (Brussels) provides customised language training in companies (private sector) and in public institutions in Brussels and surroundings.
The Pedagogical Quality Advisor (m/f) reports to the Department Manager and is responsible for the overall pedagogical approach and quality of the learning content and materials in several languages.
Job description Together with your colleagues from the Business department, you will be responsible for:
- conducting pedagogical quality assurance actions to ensure that all materials and course content is compliant with the CLL business standards and client expectations;
- creating and/or participating in creation of online and offline pedagogical materials (syllabi, work sheets, flashcards, etc.);
- training and coaching the trainers (especially in the field of new technologies): briefings, class visits, feedback sessions, follow-up;
- communication with trainers; you ensure daily support on both content-related matters and the practical use of CLL’s LMS;
- applying new forms of learning using digital technologies;
- developing and organizing online and offline training workshops;
- staying abreast of new developments in pedagogy and exchanging ideas with trainers and colleagues.
Your profile - You have a degree in the field of languages and/or education (additional training in digital education is a plus).
- You have a C1 level in Dutch and/or English and you also speak French (preferably B2 or above).
- You have a keen interest in language learning and language teaching.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a language trainer (preferably in a business environment) and/or as pedagogical advisor
- You are able to create tailor-made training programs and participate in drafting pedagogical proposals for tenders.
- You are more than familiar with digital tools and new technologies, and know how they can be used in the classroom.
- You work independently and enjoy challenges; you like human contact and are assertive.
- You are efficient, organised and structured, while remaining flexible in your approach.
- You are results-oriented and put everything in place to achieve your goals.
- You are creative, dynamic and eager to learn and love working in a team where you have specific responsibilities.
- You have a driver's license B.
