Your role and responsibilities
• You manage the complete payroll process from A to Z for our blue-collar workforce in Belgium and France. Thanks to your accuracy and constructive collaboration with our social secretariat, you ensure timely and correct salary processing.
• You have a true hands-on mentality and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. You handle workplace accidents from reporting to follow-up and ensure correct administrative processing.
• You keep our personnel administration up to date, including absences, onboarding and offboarding, changes, promotions, and other updates. In short, you are an administrative all-rounder who ensures smooth and efficient processing of all these tasks.
• You prepare contracts and legal documents, such as termination forms, certificates, and other HR documents for your target group.
• You manage a wide range of payroll files, including wage garnishments, thematic leave, career break arrangements, and end-of-career schemes. You process all documents accurately and provide certificates to the appropriate authorities. You truly appreciate the variety this brings to your role.
• You process and closely monitor the working hours of temporary workers. Thanks to your strong time-management skills, all hours are submitted correctly and on time.
• You check and process purchase invoices related to payroll or HR administration.
• You act as the first point of contact for our blue-collar employees regarding questions about salaries, absences, and other payroll-related topics. With your strong communication skills, you guide new employees with clear and understandable explanations of all payroll processes.
You will join an HR team of ten colleagues, working closely with three experienced payroll specialists and supported by our payroll manager. In this role, you’ll have room to grow: as you gain confidence and expertise, your responsibilities can be expanded further.

Working hours
• Office hours: you start between 8:30 and 9:00
• You enjoy a 30-minute lunch break (tip: visit our relaxation room or join the weekly Walk & Talks)
• You work 7h36 per day in a 38-hour workweek
• After an onboarding period, you can work from home 1 or 2 days per week
Profiel
You have the following qualities:
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in an HR-related field, or you can demonstrate equivalent experience in payroll or a social secretariat.
• You are administratively strong and have good knowledge of social legislation and payroll processes.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a strong asset.
• You work confidently with payroll software and Excel and quickly learn new systems.
• You work accurately, structured, and efficiently, and deadlines don’t throw you off balance.
• You are customer-oriented, communicate clearly, and always handle confidential information discreetly.
