JavaScript Front-End Developer Strengthen an exciting organisation in expansion with your expertise! The Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ) is looking for a JavaScript Front-End Developer for immediate employment in the IT department. YOUR TASKS § You will execute the UI development flow of an information system: analysis, development and basic testing. This is done in consultation with a science officer and under the direction of an IT project manager. § You keep the information systems operational and performant and develop services and web applications to make data easily accessible online. § You are responsible for the SoundLib data system(

Profiel
YOUR PROFILE § You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in informatics or computer science, or equal by experience. § Excellent knowledge of JavaScript UI framework (i.e. React, Next.js). § You can easily model applications, using the correct analysis tools. § You have experience in Python and consuming REST APIs. § You have knowledge of Git (CI/CD). § You have experience with database design and systems (PostgreSQL). § You master the following scripting languages: SQL, HTML, bash, ... § Background knowledge of audio processing and Linux are a plus.
