Are you detail-driven, analytically strong and eager to work in a truly international payroll environment? Then this might just be your next step. We are looking for a medior-level Payroll Officer who will help manage payroll operations across 8 European countries – all from our European HQ in Belgium, Groot-Bijgaarden.
You’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-paced environment with room to grow and make real impact. No Belgian payroll, no local routine – just European scope, strong collaboration, and a mix of analytics, compliance, and payroll expertise.
What you’ll do
•Take ownership of the monthly payroll cycle in collaboration with external payroll providers (SD Worx)
•Ensure accuracy of payroll data, timesheets, and gross-to-net calculations
•Work closely with local HR teams to align on contract and employee data
•Provide timely, compliant payments across multiple European countries
•Enter payroll-related transactions into banking and reporting systems
•Deliver and improve payroll reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations
•Act as a reliable point of contact for internal and external payroll-related questions
•Support monthly closings, internal and external audits
•Contribute to the development and optimization of our Total Remuneration System
•Offer back-up support on soft HR admin tasks when needed
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, HR or equivalent by experience
At least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience
Experience in international or split payroll is a major plus
A strong affinity for HR and/or payroll legislation
A very good command of English (both written and spoken); Dutch or French is a plus
Advanced Excel skills and an analytical mindset
Experience with Dayforce or SAP SuccessFactors is a nice bonus
The ability to work independently, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Salary up to €4.500 gross/month
Annual fixed bonus: 10% of your gross yearly salary
€125 net/month expense allowance
