Project Engineer

Our client is a leading company in the food industry, committed to delivering quality and driving innovation. The organization provides cutting-edge technical solutions and manages projects from concept to completion, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
Your responsibilities:
- Execute purchases and coordinate maintenance in accordance with internal
- Supervise, develop, and perform validation studies (Analytical Method Validation) for new equipment and methods, including drafting validation protocols and test scripts
- Monitor the performance of analytical instruments, accurately record data in designated logs, implement corrective actions when required, report to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain and document analytical methods within the laboratory to deliver defined services efficiently and effectively
- Establish and maintain internal and external relationships (CRDS, QA, R&D), seamless collaboration with stakeholders
- Collect, analyze, intepret, and provide relevant data, and prepare reports both proactively and upon request
- Offer insight into developments and progress, ensuring stakeholders receive all necessary information
Profiel
Who are you?:
- Preferably a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality control laboratory or a comparable environment
- Proficiency in Dutch and English
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- You have strong attention to detail (technical proficiency and administrative follow-up), reliability, flexibility, customer orientation, ability to work independently
- Resilience under pressure
- In-depth knowledge of analytical techniques, instruments and associated software (Laser Diffraction, Brabender)
- Hands-on mentality with basic technical understanding
- Comprehensive knowledge of chemistry and solid product expertise
- Basic understanding of legislation and standards related to quality management systems, including HACCP and IFS
- Proficiency in standard office applications and specialized software (LIMS, SAP)
- Familiarity with purchasing procedures, laboratory protocols, and regulatory requirements
