Onboard Hospitality Manager

As an Onboard Hospitality Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the onboard service experience and operationally lead the onboard team during the journey.
Your Responsibilities
You prepare a concise work schedule for the team in advance and organize crew briefings.
You guide and coordinate the team during the execution of their tasks.
You monitor service quality and make adjustments where necessary through active follow-up and coaching.
You provide travel information and practical updates to passengers via onboard announcements.
You act as the first point of contact for passengers regarding questions, comments, or issues.
You maintain professional contacts with railway partners and external suppliers.
You ensure clear communication with the back office and prepare an operational report after each trip.
You will be based in Denderleeuw or Brussels (both locations must be easily accessible).
- You have strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Service orientation and customer experience are central to your approach.
- You work independently when needed, but also function excellently within a team.
- You are flexible and can easily switch between different tasks.
- You are willing to spend multiple nights away from home per assignment (on average 2 to 3 nights per week and approximately 10 nights per month); the rest of the time you are off duty.
Formation: Hospitality, Tourism.
Connaissances professionnelles: You have relevant experience in people management.
You have relevant experience in hospitality, preferably within tourism, hospitality, transport, or a railway environment.
Connaissances linguistiques: You have an excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.
