This position is designed with a strong development perspective: as the organization continues to scale, the role is expected to evolve in scope and impact, progressively taking on broader responsibilities and growing into a HR Business Partner / HR Manager role.
Reporting directly to the HR Director and working closely with the business, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle while contributing to employee engagement, operational excellence and continuous improvement within HR.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Develop and implement the annual recruitment plan in partnership with management (including employer branding initiatives in Belgium and France).
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers and provide professional guidance throughout the selection process.
- Coordinate recruitment process (candidate screening, interview coordination and assessment follow-up).
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding processes (contracts, insurances, fleet, IT access, documentation, logistics).
HR Operations
Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers across Belgium and the site located in Northern France.
- Ensure accurate HR and personnel administration for employees based in the region
- Guarantee precise and timely HR data management (payroll inputs, insurances, reporting, HRIS updates).
- Coordinate and validate monthly payroll preparation for Belgium in close collaboration with the external payroll provider and internal stakeholders.
- Handle daily HR administrative matters
- Lead internal HR communication initiatives (HR updates, newsletters..).
- Contribute to cross-border HR projects such as process harmonization, digitalization and policy alignment.
Offboarding & Exit Management
- Coordinate exit procedures including documentation, payroll adjustments, insurance administration and fleet return.
- Organize and structure exit interviews, ensuring proper reporting and analysis to support retention strategies.
You will report to the HR Director and act as a hands-on HR professional combining operational execution with a proactive, improvement-driven mindset.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a broad HR generalist role, ideally within a multi-site or international environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and French with good knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of Belgian labor and social legislation; knowledge of French regulations is a strong asset.
- Experience working with external payroll providers.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Detail-oriented, analytical and structured, with strong organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently within a cross-border environment, with regular on-site presence in Belgium and France.
