Freelance Senior Accountant - Join a long-term assignment
Functieomschrijving
As Freelance Senior Accountant, you will :
- Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes ;
- Prepare closing entries, accruals, provisions, and related reconciliations ;
- Perform and review monthly bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations;
- Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts by overseeing journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations ;
- Support the external accounting firm in the preparation of tax and regulatory filings like VAT ;
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and investment needs ;
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy ;
Profiel
A successful Freelance Senior Accountant should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles;
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles ;
- Proficiency in Odoo ;
- Fluent in Dutch or French, and English ;
