As Business Process Owner you are managing processes end-to-end. Your primary focus will be redesigning and optimizing the Planning and Production process from raw material procurement to availability of finished product. The production process of raw materials and finished goods inhouse or at our international production facilities is part of your scope. The obvious link with other parts of the Forecast-to-Stock and Order-to-Cash process is incorporated in your end-to-end reflex. At Van de Velde, we aim for operational excellence with continuous process improvements and a knowledge framework. You support your operational colleagues in the Supply Chain with a full process view, enabling them to reach their departmental targets and to facilitate improvements and changes, with the ultimate goal of excellent customer service. In business initiatives with a bigger scope and a specific project structure, you will play an important role, as gatekeeper and knowledge holder, but also an enabler and a project lead.
- You will gather full understanding of the Van de Velde business processes, connecting closely with all cross functional process owners, key-stakeholders, and IT. You understand how a planning, inventory and supply chain are modelled in an ERP package.
- You proactively define new or changed process requirements by performing a detailed analysis of complex requirements. You provide system or process solutions, in collaboration with IT and with your business partners in the Supply Chain. You make sure the changes are signed-off from and end-to-end perspective, before implementation.
- You challenge existing practices with end users, capture opportunities for optimizations and implement and lead the deployment of optimizations. You enable the documentation, communication, and training of every process change.
- By means of the lean methodology, you facilitate continuous improvements.
- You take on a leading role in assigned strategic and line projects.
- You are responsible for the development of tools to evaluate and measure performance and translate them to the departments. Based on performance data, you quickly identify bottlenecks and ways to improve.
- You follow trends and stay on track of new developments in business process management or F2S management topics.
