Warehouse Coordinator(?????)
Functieomschrijving
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations and task assignments
- Distribute tasks to operators, pickers, and QC staff
- Ensure inbound and outbound processes run according to deadlines
- Follow up on shipment status and communicate updates to internal teams
- Maintain simple operational records such as:
- Incoming/outgoing shipment logs
- Daily hours or task completion sheets
- Inventory or stock update lists
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and 3PL partners regarding:
- Pick-up times
- Delivery arrangements
- Dock scheduling
- Support the warehouse floor when needed during busy periods
- Monitor safety, workflow, and adherence to procedures
- Report issues, delays, or operational risks to management
- Help create a smooth, structured, and efficient working environment
Knowledge Requirements
- Good understanding of warehouse flow: inbound, storage, picking, QC, outbound
- Familiarity with logistics concepts (basic transport, freight handling, load order)
- Basic Excel skills (sorting, filtering, updating simple forms)
- Ability to follow and implement warehouse procedures
- Basic communication in English or Dutch
- Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus for internal team coordination
