Wat ga je doen?
Truck Technician
As a Truck Technician, you play a key role in keeping trucks, trailers, braking systems, and tail lifts safe and fully operational. You perform both routine maintenance and complex repairs, working independently as well as alongside skilled colleagues. Using your technical expertise and advanced diagnostic tools, you ensure that all heavy vehicles remain reliable, road-ready, and compliant with safety standards.
Your Responsibilities
? Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks and trailers of various brands
? Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
? Use diagnostic equipment and software to assess ABS/EBS and braking systems
? Inspect axles, chassis, undercarriages, and tarpaulins for wear or damage
? Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tail lifts, including hydraulic and electronic components
? Provide on-site roadside assistance when required
? Always follow safety guidelines and industry standards in every task
- Ability to work independently on trucks, trailers, and tail lifts
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, brake, and hydraulic systems
- Experience using diagnostic software for vehicle systems (ABS/EBS)
- Skilled in troubleshooting and solving technical issues efficiently
- Willingness to perform on-site breakdown repairs
- Solid technical insight and problem-solving mindset
- Accurate and quality-focused approach
- Communicative and flexible attitude
Opleiding: Technical education in mechanics and experience in the profession
Talenkennis: Dutch or English on communicative level required
Wat bieden wij jou?- Hourly rate: €20-€22 gross/hour
- Day work – no shift allowance provided
- Overtimes possible up to 50h/week
- There is an opportunity to work in the 24/7 on-call service at a later stage, with additional pay.
