Are you a versatile technician with hands-on experience in trucks and trailers?
For one of our clients, we are seeking a self-reliant Truck Technician who takes pride in keeping heavy vehicles safe, dependable, and fully operational.
Your Role
? Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers from various manufacturers
? Carry out servicing tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and vehicle readiness checks
? Independently diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
? Operate diagnostic tools to identify, analyze, and correct system issues
? Provide on-site assistance and repair tail lifts when required
? Inspect, test, and adjust braking systems to ensure optimal performance
? Maintain a tidy, well-organized, and safe working environment
? Use tools, equipment, and protective gear in a correct and responsible manner
? Clearly communicate completed work and technical findings with colleagues and customers
- You have a passion for commercial vehicles and their technology
- At least several years of experience as a car mechanic
- Perform independent maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults
- Use diagnostic computers and read vehicle systems
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Work safely with tools and personal protective equipment
- You communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- You are positive, professional team player
Opleiding: Study level A3/A2 car mechanics or equivalent through experience
Study level Bachelor Automotive Technology or equivalent through experience
Vakkennis: Technical knowledge of trucks, trailers, brakes, and hydraulic systems
Experience with diagnostic equipment and interpreting electrical schematics
Understanding of maintenance and repair techniques for heavy vehicles
Knowledge of preparing vehicles for operation and performing roadside assistance
Insight into brake systems and tail lifts
Talenkennis: Communicative English skills at B1 - B2 level
Wat bieden wij jou?- Salary: Competitive hourly wage starting from €18 to €21 gross, depending on experience and qualifications
- Meal Vouchers: €5.50 per working day
- Working Hours: 39 hours per week, with the opportunity for paid overtime (150% rate) — up to 50 hours per week, including occasional Saturday mornings
- Shifts: Two shift options available — 8:00–16:00 or 10:00–18:00
