As a operational Team Lead Collections, you are not only responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, but you also actively participate in the operational debt collection process. You are the point of contact for complex cases, monitor the quality of follow-up and ensure that the team works with focus and energy every day. You combine leadership with a hands-on mentality and contribute directly to improving cash flow and customer relations.
Your role and responsibilities
- You will manage the credit collection team and coach and support them in their daily work.
- You will monitor the quality of the collection process and provide support in complex cases.
- You actively work on process improvements and implement optimisations.
- You analyse payment behaviour and initiate process improvements for KPIs such as DSO, ageing and dispute follow-up.
- You are the point of contact for escalations and structural solutions.
- You maintain close contact with Sales, Customer Service and Finance to ensure cases are handled smoothly.

Jouw profiel
- Experience in Collections, Credit Control or a similar financial position.
- Management experience or the ambition to take the next step.
- A hands-on mindset: you roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team.
- Strong communication skills and a combination of customer focus and decisiveness.
- Analytical insight and affinity with KPIs and process improvement.
- You like structure, think in terms of solutions and know how to motivate people.
- Language skills: Dutch, French and English; German is a plus.
