Sales Assistant for the FMCG industry

Functieomschrijving

As a Sales Assistant for the FMCG Industry, you will be in charge of the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by managing administrative requests with timely and accurate responses.
  • Coordinate product launches with clients and monitor retro-planning to alert colleagues of potential delays.
  • Execute administrative export procedures.
  • Support Sales by preparing commercial offers.
  • Arrange client visits (transfers, samples, meals, internal communication, etc.).
  • Organize sample shipments.
  • Assist Accounting with payment follow-ups to ensure timely customer payments.
  • Address pricing disputes, complaints, and customer penalties in collaboration with other departments.
  • Communicate customer and Sales Department needs internally and provide feedback to the Sales team.
  • Transmit information from customers or sales representatives to internal services (promotions, new pricing, etc.).
  • Share updates from internal services (Production, R&D, etc.) with customers and/or sales representatives.
  • Provide support to Sales Administration for one-off tasks (e.g., logistics benchmarking).
  • Contribute to other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Profiel

The ideal Sales Assistant for the FMCG Industry would have the following skills:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with an ERP.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in French / English and Dutch ideally.
  • Ability to multitask is a great plus.
