Functieomschrijving

As Part-time Account Manager (50%) in the Belgian AI Factory Antenna, you are responsible for attracting new customers to the antenna and for engaging with the existing customers to select the best services and follow up until successful completion of the services.

What you will do

Belgium joins the European network of AI-Factories and Antennas with the establishment of the Belgian AI Factory Antenna. The Antenna will start early 2026. The antenna will provide companies, researchers and public institutions with:

  • Expert services for developing and deploying large-scale AI models,
  • Access to AI-optimized computing infrastructure in AI Factories in Europe,
  • Access to high-quality, interoperable datasets, and
  • Training on using the infrastructure and the datasets.

The consortium of the antenna unites 23 leading research centers, universities and public institutions from four distinct ecosystems—Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels-Capital, and the Federal State. Imec coordinates the Antenna.

You will engage in the AI ecosystem with companies (with focus on SMEs and start-ups). You will work closely together with the account managers and technical AI experts of the consortium partners of the antenna and with the antenna director.

  • Prospecting and attracting target customers and onboarding of new customers for the Belgian AI Factory antenna.
  • Customer management: engaging with customers to select the best services and follow-up until successful completion of the services. Includes gathering customer feedback and success stories.
  • Providing input for Business development including market analysis in various sectors and based on your experience in the ecosystem and with the customers.

  • You are driven by delivering optimal customer experience.
  • You are curious and quickly understand the dreams and challenges of existing and new customers.
  • You can translate business opportunities and requirements into technical needs and couple them with the service offering.
  • You can interact fluently with customers that have a business or technical need, with technical project managers and AI experts.
  • You have an affinity with AI applications, the development of (large-scale) AI models and high-performance computing in various application domains.
  • You have strong communication skills in English and in Dutch.
