Legal Advisor - Urban Planning, Permitting and Energy Policy
Functieomschrijving
- Monitor Belgian and EU legislation in commercial real estate and trade law (including B2C e-commerce)
- Analyze new laws and case law, and communicate their impact clearly to stakeholders
- Advise member companies and defend their interests at regional, federal, and European levels
- Develop strategic positions on commercial real estate and e-commerce with the Head of Legal & Tax
- Lead committees and working groups, fostering collaboration among legal experts
- Build and maintain a strong network within the sector and with external partners
Profiel
- Belgian Master's degree in Law (mandatory)
- Relevant experience as a consultant, lawyer, or in-house counsel
- Strong ability to translate complex legal matters into practical advice
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Analytical, proactive, and business-oriented mindset
- Fluent in Dutch and French (excellent Dutch required), with good English skills
- Organized, flexible, and eager to learn; a true team player with initiative
