Junior Payroll Officer
Functieomschrijving
- Supporting the full Belgian payroll cycle in collaboration with the social secretariat
- Collecting, checking and validating payroll data (salaries, bonuses, absences, etc.)
- Managing employee contracts, amendments and social documents
- Following up on absences, sick leave, holidays and other payroll-related events
- Answering employee questions related to payroll and compensation
- Maintaining and updating payroll and HR databases
- Preparing payroll reports and supporting audits and controls
- Contributing to the improvement of payroll processes and internal procedures
Profiel
- First professional experience in payroll or HR administration with a strong payroll component
- Strong interest in developing expertise in Belgian payroll and social legislation
- Accurate, structured and comfortable working with numbers and confidential data
- Fluent in English and good knowledge of French or Dutch
- Proactive, reliable and eager to learn
- Able to work independently while enjoying teamwork
