GL Accountant - High-Tech Environment
Functieomschrijving
- Responsible for the full general ledger process for Belgium and Germany, with support for other European countries.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
- Preparing and submitting VAT and other tax declarations.
- Account consolidation and reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Reporting and analysis of financial data for internal stakeholders.
- Supporting the finance team with international projects and daily tasks.
- Using SAP and advanced Excel techniques for financial processing and reporting.
Profiel
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Initial experience in GL accounting, preferably in an international environment.
- Solid knowledge of European GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP.
- Experience with multi-country accounting and financial consolidation.
- Fluent in English (100% of communication).
- Analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Hands-on, flexible, and proactive, with a strong focus on process optimization.
