Your role and responsibilities
As part of the customer service team for Export, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient order handling from start to finish. This is a part-time (50%) position.
- Orders are processed accurately and delivered according to the logistical agreements and conditions made with the customer. You will ensure that customer requirements are met in the delivery process to guarantee customer satisfaction;
- Any issues blocking the order flow (such as credit limits, absence of contract or pricing) are resolved swiftly in coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders (resp. AR, Sales) of the different customer orders;
- Close follow-up of delivery progress in case of OTIF deviations (e.g. missing products or delays, etc.). You will keep the customer and respective sales responsible informed and create credit notes when needed, based on signed delivery notes;
- As the main point of contact for customers, you'll maintain clear and timely communication to support their needs and strengthen relationships;
- Address ad hoc and recurring issues by working closely with 2nd or 3rd line support teams;
- You will register and resolve complaints while ensuring transparent communication throughout the process;
- You will send pro forma invoices and follow up on prepayments. You are also responsible for the dispatch of product samples;
- Take part in pallet / packaging / load optimization projects and defining warehouse capacity requirements;
- You will address network issues proactively based on stock levels to prevent Out of Stock (OOS), Possible Obsolete Stock (POS), and Possible Critical Stock (PCS);
- Implement price changes in SAP and manage master data (filling out customer-specific forms, managing customer access on various platforms, facilitating secure information exchange and communicate any change in existing products and update the customer platforms).
Are you the one we’re looking for?
- You have a bachelor’s degree preferably in a commercial field or equivalent through experience;
- You wish to work part-time (50%), preferably in the afternoons;
- You are customer-oriented, which reflects a commitment to placing the customer experience at the forefront;
- Your stability shines through in complex and high-pressure situations, making you a reliable and dependable team member;
- By being solution-oriented, you can effortlessly generate resolutions for challenges as they emerge;
- You proactively anticipate and address customer requests;
- As a strong communicator with good social skills you cooperate efficiently with different internal and external stakeholders;
- You have fluent knowledge of Dutch and English (both verbally and written) and a basic knowledge of French;
- You are fluent in current IT applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word ...);
- Experience with SAP is a plus;
- You work very accurately and are administratively strong.
