Laboratory Chemist
Do you recognize yourself in the following profile?
- You have relevant lab experience in the Oil & Petrochemical sector or a degree in chemistry / Scientific orientated study.
- There is no 'I' in your team and as a structured multitasker you also have an eye for detail.
- You do not shy away from a new challenge, in fact 'you love a challenge'!
- You like accuracy and order
- You have good knowledge of English and are open to learn a few new words in Dutch.
- You are ready to expand your knowledge and experience.
- Interested in a geographical move?
- If you are also a strong communicator, this is an extra bonus but certainly not a must !
Then you might be our new colleague!
- You will first follow an internal training course, during which you will be trained in a variety of techniques. As a chemist, you will learn where your area of interest lies, and you can specialize in it at BV.
- You will be linked to an enthusiastic mentor who can further guide you in chromatography - spectroscopy - rheology - Xray -... Techniques.
- You perform analyses on various products and chemicals to report flawless certificates to Customer Service and our customers.
- In our > 1000 m² operational and R&D lab (largest lab in Antwerp) you can immerse yourself in a range of techniques and more than 200 devices.

In our state-of-the-art laboratory we analyze a wide variety of products. These include, for example, crude oil, petroleum products, chemicals or gases.
