Your primary mission will be to provide essential support to a dredging pontoon, ensuring smooth operations and safe passage through these regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Navigate and operate the tugboat efficiently in collaboration with dredging operations.
• Ensure the mechanical upkeep of the tugboat, supported by the client’s team of technicians.
• Maintain tidiness and order on board, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.
• Coordinate with French-speaking and Flemish-speaking teams to ensure seamless communication and operations.

Profile Description:

Our client is seeking an independent and responsible individual to take on the role of Captain for Tugboat. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong mechanical knowledge, essential for the maintenance and operation of the tugboat.
• A valid river licence and STCW certificate of competency.
• CRR holder credentials.
• A driving licence and access to a car for easy mobility.
• A B licence (river) and A licence (river + coastal) to navigate various waterways.
• Proficiency in English, French, or Dutch to effectively communicate with diverse teams.
