AZ Accountant
Functieomschrijving
The scope of responsibilities for this job include:
- You prepare, consolidate, and manage all accounting documentation for monthly closing, working closely with external accountants;
- You ensure timely and accurate monthly invoicing to customers, supporting pricing checks and contractual compliance;
- You schedule and follow up on payments, including monitoring incoming payments, preparing reminders, and assisting with accounts receivable;
- You maintain up-to-date financial records for customers and suppliers;
- You support VAT administration and prepare relevant documentation;
- You generate monthly financial overviews for management;
- You ensure proper file management and archiving for compliance;
- You act as the primary contact for finance-related questions internally and externally;
- You accurately process and register customer orders, coordinating confirmations, delivery timelines, and documentation;
- You liaise with logistics partners and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies;
- You support identification of efficient logistics and transport options;
- You provide internal sales support, handle administrative and order-related customer requests, assist with quotations, and contract administration.

Profiel
The requested qualifications for this job include:
- You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English;
- You have deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word);
- You demonstrate a dynamic, initiative-taking personality with a positive, team-minded attitude;
- You possess higher education (university degree is not mandatory);
- You have 5-10 years of relevant work experience in relevant roles;
- You ideally have experience in distribution or the mineral fillers industry;
- You have experience using ERP systems.
