Aircraft Painter
Functieomschrijving
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our heavy maintenance team. The role involves preparing, painting, and finishing aircraft surfaces according to strict aerospace industry standards, ensuring both aesthetic quality and protective coatings on structures such as fuselages, wings, and components.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, stripping).
- Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns or other tools.
- Follow technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, thickness, and uniformity.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of painting equipment and work areas.
Profiel
- Vocational training in Industrial Painting, Auto Bodywork, or equivalent (CAP/BEP).
- Previous experience in aerospace or automotive painting is highly valued.
- Proficiency in industrial painting techniques (e.g., airless, HVLP).
- Knowledge of chemical products (solvents, primers, topcoats).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., EASA Part-145) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and organizational skills.
