HR Manager

Description de la fonction

As HR Manager, you will manage an operational team of 3 people. You will have, with them, the following responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Support to BU Managers in order to define their needs based on yearly business plan
  • Create and validate job descriptions
  • Define recruitment strategies; review and/or optimize recruitment processes
  • Detect & coach interviewers, increase interview quality
  • Employer Branding
  • Further develop onboarding strategy & tools
  • Support & coach BUM's in the onboarding process
  • Identify potential staffing partners based on defined project needs
  • Start working on Group level harmonization

Talent retention

  • Support Managers in their day-to-day (people management & employees performance reviews)
  • Detect high potentials & low performers, give support in order to set up action plans
  • Define adequate strategies in order to offer challenging development paths
  • Promote internal mobility & interactions with other Operational Units
  • Organize, centralize & assess learning & development activities
  • Ensure employees are working in safe & healthy conditions
  • Support Prevention Officer & Management in developing H&S strategy


  • Follow up salary benchmark (by position and/or industry)
  • Work on differentiation, valorize high-added value proposals
  • Further develop and optimize cost-effective attractive remuneration strategy
  • Start working on Group level harmonization

Employee relation & HR administration

  • Answer employees' questions
  • Manage monthly payroll process
  • Fill in & comply with social/legal obligations
  • Create and/or review the internal guidelines & policies

Legal HR / Reporting

  • Manage contracts, check requirements (insurance, VAT…), control Purchase Requests
  • Challenge current practices & propose appropriate improvements; Organize & improve all HR-related reports
  • Prepare budgets, simulations, statistics
  • Assess, anticipate & manage potential risks


The ideal HR Manager that we are looking for can demonstrate the following skills:

  • You have about 10 years of experience within a HR Management role
  • You are fluent in French, English and Dutch (knowledge of Spanish is an asset)
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Belgian social & labor laws
  • A knowledge of legislations applicable in France, Luxembourg and/or the Netherlands is an advantage
  • You are not afraid of multi-tasking and can manage a variety of stakeholders and point of views
