For a leading logistics provider in Oostkamp, specialised in the storage and distribution of frozen food products, we are looking for a warehouse operative who wants to join their team in the freezer department. Are you experienced in warehouse work? Do you know how to drive an electrical pallet truck? And are you OK with a cold work environment? Then this is a good opportunity for you!
Your job
As a member of the warehouse team, you play an essential role in the daily logistics operations.
Your responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks with frozen foods
- Carrying out thorough quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
- Moving pallets to different departments within the company
You do all of this using an electrical pallet truck (EPT). After a certain time you'll receive a training for the reachtruck and use it too.
Profiel
Is this you?
- Experience in logistics or logistical work: orderpicker, warehouse worker...
- Not afraid to work in the cold environment of the freezer
- Experience with driving an electical pallet truck (licence is not required)
- Willing to work in a 2-shift system
- Own transport to the company (no public transport around)

Experience with driving a reachtruck is a big advantage but not necessary.

Aanbod
Good payment and conditions:
- Hourly wage: 16,025€/h
- Freezer bonus: 10% extra
- Shift bonus: 7,5% extra
- Meal vouchers: €6/day
- Higher wage after 6 months and after 1 year
- Permanent contract after 6 months with weekly contracts
- Hospital insurance with your permanent contract
- Training and mentoring on the job;
