For a major company in frozen transport and logistics in Oostkamp, we are looking for a warehouse worker to join the team in the freezer. Do cold temperatures not scare you at all and do you speak English well? Then don't hesitate to apply, because the company is very welcoming to speakers of Dutch and English!
The job
As a warehouse operative, you're an essential part of the company’s logistical process. Using an electric pallet truck in the freezer area, you'll help supply supermarkets all over Europe.
Your main tasks:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Quality controls on incoming and outgoing goods
- Move pallets between different sections of the company
In time, you'll also operate a reach truck after an internal training.
Profiel
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in warehouse work or logistics: loading/unloading trucks, orderpicking, operating a forklift...
- Isn't afraid of working in a cold environment (70% freezer, 30% fridge)
- Is willing to work in a 2-shift system
- Has their own transport to the company (no public transport nearby)
So if you recognise yourself in this description, you definitely qualify!
Reach truck experience is a big plus but not required.

Aanbod

- Hourly wage: €16,3745/h
- Freezer bonus: 10% extra
- Shift bonus: 7,5% extra
- Meal vouchers: €7/day
- Permanent contract after a positive interim period
