As a technician for security technologies, you are responsible for the installation and/or maintenance of various security systems at clients in your own region. Your tasks include access control, fire detection, and CCTV systems in particular. Depending on your experience and ambitions, your responsibilities may vary, but they generally include:
Installation of security systems:
You will install new access control, fire detection, and CCTV systems at clients' premises. In doing so, you ensure that all components are correctly placed and configured.
Maintenance of security systems:

Following internal procedures:

Certificates:
You possess a degree in Electronics, Electrical installations, Control and security techniques, or an equivalent education. This certificate confirms that you have received formal technical training relevant to the role of a technician in security technologies.
In addition, you must also be able to present a clean certificate of conduct. This proof shows that you are a trustworthy individual without a criminal background.
Having the Tobback Certificate is an added value. The Tobback Certificate is a Flemish certificate indicating that you are not banned from working in the security sector and that you are reliable to work with security systems.
