Roofer
Functieomschrijving
Your duties for the job of roofer will include :
-Roof construction: Building the roof frame and supporting structure for the pitched roof. This includes installing roof trusses, purlins and ridge beams
-Roofing: Laying the roofing material on the pitched roof. This can include different materials, such as tiles, or slates. It requires accuracy and craftsmanship to ensure that the roofing is correctly placed and watertight.
-Insulation: Applying insulation material to the roof. This includes installing insulation boards or spraying insulation foam between the rafters.
-Skylights and dormers: Installing skylights or dormers. Cutting out the roof surface, waterproofing the connections and installing the windows or dormers correctly.
-Finishing: Installing eaves, gutters, downspouts and vents.

-A junior roofer just starting out in the roofing industry or someone with limited experience.
