Project engineer
Functieomschrijving
You will be responsible for the operation of our first Electricon pilot system. You will work closely with our technical development team to experimentally improve the technology. You will work on the integration and optimization of processes including gas scrubbing and electrochemical systems. Your tasks include:
- To translate development goals into a concrete experimental plan
- To operate and troubleshoot the pilot installation
- To gather results by sampling, analysis, data collection and processing
- To interpret results and report to the technical development team
- To understand and improve the PFD, P&ID and Hazop of the pilot
- To identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for modifications to systems and processes
- To interact with the Electricon team and with external stakeholders (subcontractors, pilot host, etc)
- To stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and guidelines related to carbn capture technologies.
Profiel
You have a relevant engineering master degree (chemical/civil/industrial/environmental) with at least a first professional experience in technology development or pilot and full-scale testing
- You have strong organisation and prioritisation skills; you can multi-task efficiently
- You value open communication and are a team player
- You are fluent in English
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- You have a driver’s license.
- Above all you are a problem solver that always thinks ahead and likes to bring solutions into practice
