Order Management Specialist
Functieomschrijving
As an Order Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy, smooth coordination, and excellent customer communication.
Tasks:
- Process and manage customer orders from order entry to final delivery
- Check pricing, product availability, lead times, and delivery conditions
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, and shipment details
- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, warehouse, and sales teams
- Handle order changes, cancellations, returns, and delivery issues
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Support invoicing checks and administrative follow-up
- Prepare reports and contribute to process improvements
Profiel
- Experience in order management, customer service, or a similar role is a plus, not a must
- Junior profiles with relevant studies (e.g., Business, Logistics, Administration) and ERP/SAP knowledge are also encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Good command of MS Office; ERP experience (SAP) is a strong asset
