As Marketing Coordinator, you support the marketing team for the Surgery portfolio, with a strong focus on planning and delivering external events such as congresses, symposia, customer events, plus internal meetings. Around 70% of the role is event and congress organisation, working closely with European marketing, sales, compliance, plus internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution in a regulated pharma context. Over time, the role is expected to evolve towards more omnichannel marketing work, including web related updates, analytics, content updates, plus digital channels such as social media.
- Organise and coordinate external events: congresses, symposia, customer events
- Coordinate event logistics, suppliers, plus attend selected events on site
- Reserve venues, coordinate booth design, promotional materials
- Use internal tools for contracts and requests
- Manage shipments, returns, stock of marketing materials
- Track marketing budget, follow up invoicing
- Support creation, adaptation, updating of marketing materials
- Support rollout and follow up of omnichannel marketing campaigns
- Ensure events and marketing activities remain compliant with relevant internal rules, plus external compliance expectations in pharma
Must have requirements
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communication, commercial studies, or event management
- 2 to 3 years of experience in event organisation and or marketing
- Strong planning and organising skills, able to standardise processes where needed
- High accuracy, strong deadline ownership, able to keep operations running smoothly
- Very reliable, stress resilient colleague who can work independently, plus multitask
- Professional Dutch (Flemish) plus English
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to work in a regulated environment where compliance and regulatory constraints are critical (pharma context)
