Marketing Assistant

This position involves 38 hours /week in a dynamic and corporate environment.

The responsibilities of this position as Marketing Assistant (m/f/x) are:

• As part of our Central Marketing & Business Development team, working closely with the legal teams and the assistants in the Brussels office as well as international colleagues based in London and other countries;
• Updating and maintaining marketing materials, client presentations, and credentials;
• Supporting the legal directory and awards submissions process;
• Managing contact databases (CRM) and mailing lists, credentials database, and intranet;
• Assisting with internal and external communications, newsletters, and client alerts;
• Coordinating social media and website updates in collaboration with the global communications team;
• Assisting with content creation for Brussels LinkedIn and Instagram pages;
• Helping with the organisation of client activities (in-house and external seminars, webinars and events), from crafting invitations to gathering feedback, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for all participants;
• Providing support to expand the client portfolio, from doing background research to creating pitches, presentations and newsletters;
• Supporting the development and implementation of the marketing activities and profile-raising initiatives for the Brussels office through multi-channel campaigns (email, social media, targeted advertising, legal news sites, etc.);
• Tracking business development opportunities and client engagement activities, ensuring completion of follow-up actions;
• Assisting in preparing marketing reports and analytics to measure ROI on campaigns, events, and other initiatives;
• Assisting with budget tracking for marketing and business development activities, including invoice processing and expense monitoring.

The required qualifications for the position of Marketing Assistant (m/f/x) are as follows:

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a marketing, communications or business development role (experience in a professional services or law firm is an asset
• You have a perfect command of English and good knowledge of Dutch and French, both spoken and written
• Strong organisational and priority management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems (such as InterAction) and design tools (such as Canva or Adobe InDesign) is a must
• You have the maturity to take on final responsibility.
