We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Surveyor to join our team and support with the execution of our projects. Our team members have different backgrounds, from IT to geography to DIY. Junior Surveyor (Hydrographic Surveyor)

As a Junior Surveyor, you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of our survey assignments, and in the analysis of the data acquired. You will be working with cutting-edge technology in various challenging environments. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and plan survey projects to ensure efficient execution.
• Install, maintain, and calibrate equipment such as GPS systems, multibeam echosounders, USBLs, motion sensors, and more.
• Perform regular calibration, verification, and monitoring of survey equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
• Collect data in the field, prepare daily reports, analyze and interpret results, and generate charts, plans, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues on ongoing operations and provide support in daily tasks.
• Plan and execute surveys while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
• Advise the team on geophysical and hydrographic matters to ensure the highest data quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all procedures are followed to create a safe working environment.

Profiel
• A degree in hydrography, geology, IT, electrical engineering, or a related field can be of use, but any motivated, hands-on person will be evaluated.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive in approaching tasks.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of hydrographic surveying and industry practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with survey methods and equipment is highly beneficial.
