Your mission
- Be responsible for the technical implementation of projects and changes in the Education Technology (EdTech) domain as an IT-Business solution expert.
- Advise your business colleagues on the functional capabilities of the current application software and be their IT sparring partner when it comes to optimisation of the existing business processes in the context of change:
- Translate their business requirements into functional and technical specifications, in close cooperation with our external IT partners.
- Prioritise, support, and guide them through the IT change processes.
- Provide the necessary documentation and prepare the handover to the support team.
- Take on the role of IT specialist and technical project lead in the context of Business/IT projects:
- Be responsible for the technical content (application architecture, concept, technical description and implementation and testing).
- Be responsible for the coordination and follow-up of the internal and external IT activities and quality assurance.
- Gather in-depth knowledge in your area(s) of expertise and continuously monitor technological trends. Together with the whole IT team, you will keep a broad view of the Vlerick business application landscape and architecture.
Profiel
You
- Have a min of 5 years of relevant experience, incl. working with IT-Business Solutions.
- Have a strong customer and result-oriented mindset.
- Are familiar with the rollout/implementation/usage of IT-Business solutions, EdTech solutions.
- Like working at the intersection of technology and business.
- Are passionate about data and data quality.
- Have excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Are a team player who likes receiving responsibility for multiple IT solutions.
- Are looking forward to working on our Ghent, Brussels, or Leuven campus in combination with your home office. You are willing to commute to Ghent on a regular basis.
