Freelance GL Accountant
Functieomschrijving
- Record and validate accounting entries (invoices, expenses)
- Manage supplier payments and payment terms
- Prepare payment runs and reconcile accounts
- Post customer receipts and reconcile banks
- Monitor aged receivables and follow up on payments
- Manage credit risks and high-risk accounts
- Resolve billing issues with internal teams
- Support monthly and annual closings
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and reports
- Maintain filing and archiving
- Provide administrative support to management
Profiel
- Proven experience as a GL Accountant
- Strong knowledge of Belgian and/or French GAAP
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
- Comfortable working under deadlines and handling pressure
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
