Field Service Engineer
Functieomschrijving
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be part of the EMEA North service team and will report to the Field Service Team leader. With "Safety first" mindset throughout the daily work both at company and our customer sites you will:
- Perform field service activities including installation, commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization and maintenance of equipment
- Perform all mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical tuning and setup
- Collaborate with customers on-site and provide consultancy that help customers to achieve highest performance and reduce food waste
- Work on intelligent and pioneering technologies
- Provide training of customer operators and maintenance personnel on site as well as our TOMRA field service engineers
Profiel
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering
- Working knowledge of basic electrical power circuits and PLC circuits would be an advantage
- Knowledge of computer hardware and configurations is considered a plus
- Basic understanding of programming is an advantage
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, internal and external associates, and management.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch is mandatory, other languages are considered to be a plus
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Willing to travel abroad for at least 80% of the time, based on a flexible schedule. This means it could be also during weekends or in holiday seasons.
