Job description

As Event Coordinator, you work together with the project teams that develop medical communication and education for clients or for sponsors, via organisation of symposia at international congresses, closed meetings, advisory boards, webinars, forums, ….You will support the team by coordination of logistical or administrative tasks related to all of the above. Also you will support the company leadership by coordinating logistical tasks before, during and after internal company meetings/events. Infrequent travel (within Belgium and abroad) is required, to assist with onsite activities and ensure an efficient execution of the project.

Your mission

· Coordinate the logistics related to above mentioned meetings/events.

· Assist with sending out/posting promotional materials (developed by your colleagues) via Campaign monitor, LinkedIn, X

· Execute administrative tasks related to the above and to non-meeting projects (handling contracting signatures, internal digital library)

· Develop understanding of the business environment you are working in, and contribute to the efficient execution of the projects you work on in the team (e.g. flag improvements from your end for next projects)

· Think critically and don’t be afraid to bring in new creative solutions and ideas for improving operational tasks

Your profile

· Professional bachelor (e.g. event management, project management...)

· Speaking and writing without mistakes in English (business communication)

· Perfect command of Dutch

· Very good command of English, both orally and written

· Good level knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and (especially) Excel

· Accurate

· Hands-on and positive can-do attitude

· Being able to retrieve, analyse, structure and process information

· Meticulous and quality-focused with an eye for productivity (avoiding work with limited quality contribution)

· A flexible team player but also able to work independently

· Like new challenges and eager to learn

· Coordinative and organisational skills
