English-speaking Electrical Technician
Functieomschrijving
As an Electrical Technician at Ciner Glass Belgium, you play a crucial role in keeping our installations safe, reliable and efficient. You are responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues and contributing to continuous improvements together with colleagues from different teams.
You will work either on production installations or within our utilities department, maintaining low- and medium-voltage systems, transformers and generators. This role is performed in a 6-shift system.
You will start with a general technical training program in day shift, giving you insight into our technologies and the full glass production process. Based on your strengths, you will then receive role-specific training and support our engineers during the installation and start-up of our production lines. After training, you will move into your final shift schedule.

Your Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective and curative electrical maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve electrical failures
- Coordinate maintenance activities requiring downtime
- Carry out assembly, disassembly, revisions and modifications on installations
- Read, follow and help create technical work instructions
- Register maintenance activities and ensure proper shift handover
- Work with control systems and electrical cabinets according to company standards
- Share knowledge and support colleagues
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency projects
- Perform electrical maintenance on production installations
- Replace and connect sensors and connect/disconnect motors
- Carry out work in electrical cabinets when required
Profiel
Your Profile
- Technical diploma in electrical engineering or electrotechnics
- Strong electrical skills and hands-on mindset
- Basic knowledge of electrical measuring equipment (e.g. multimeter)
- Experience in an industrial or production environment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills in electrical and electronic systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
