ENGINEERING: Electrical Design Engineer
Functieomschrijving
In this technical role, you are responsible for the electrical design of innovative industrial machinery. From concept to shipment, you ensure that every component is precisely planned, installed, and inspected. Your expertise helps deliver high-performance machines that meet the highest standards.Your responsibilities- Design and plan the electrical systems for new machine builds.- Create installation and automation schedules aligned with project timelines.- Conduct functional electrical inspections before shipment to ensure operational quality.- Provide remote support from Deinze for machine upgrades and service interventions.- Select and validate electrical components in collaboration with suppliers and purchasing.- Supervise the layout and assembly of electrical control cabinets.
Profiel
A bachelor's or master's degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline with a strong affinity for electricity.Proven experience with EPLAN software.Hands-on knowledge of designing electrical control cabinets and choosing the right components.Strong organizational and project-based working skills.Ability to set priorities and maintain structure under pressure.Independent working style, while actively contributing to the team.A proactive, solution-driven mindset with a customer-first approach.Fluent in English, spoken and written.
