· Do you like problem-solving, creative medical thinking and work variety?
Then you are the perfect Disease Area Lead for us!
Job description
As a Disease Area Lead, you team up with your colleagues to develop medical communication via all kinds of formats e.g. infographics, manuscripts, meeting presentations and reports, congress highlights. You will also support the preparation and organisation of industry-sponsored symposia at international congresses, or other client-requested events such as closed meetings, advisory boards, webinars, thereby working in close collaboration with the client’s medical and commercial teams. You will also support the development and dissemination of continued medical education (CME) programmes, translating new scientific insights into appropriate decision making by physicians in daily clinical practice.
In delivering all these solutions, you will get the opportunity to work closely together with medical thought leaders on different topics and disease areas.
Travel is part of the job: whilst it allows you to assist with onsite practicalities and so ensures an efficient execution of each project, it will also strengthen your interaction with our clients and health care professionals involved.
Your mission
· Develop understanding of the business environment you are working in, and contribute to profitable execution of the projects you work on
· As you become an expert in several disease areas, retrieve relevant clinical evidence and define learning goals and related clinical questions
· Contribute to the establishment of our network of healthcare professionals and thought leaders, build trust, and create engagement
· From there, develop high-quality content for impactful medical communication and CME programmes
· Think critically and bring in new creative solutions and ideas
Your profile
· Scientific, pharmaceutical or (bio)medical background (Master/PhD)
· Perfect command of English, both orally and written
· Perfect command of Dutch
· Hands-on and positive can-do attitude
· Able to prioritise tasks and switch between projects
· Interest in developing medical content (manuscripts, meeting presentations, clinical cases, etc.) for usage by healthcare professionals
· Meticulous and quality-focused with an eye for productivity
· A flexible team player but also able to work independently
· Like new challenges and eager to learn
What’s in it for you?
· You will join a small very dynamic organisation with a clear strategy and ambition
· You will be part of a team of like-minded and professional colleagues, and will have the chance to meet and interact with national and international experts in the life science field
· As we value moving forward, you will have the possibility to continuously grow and expand your knowledge and skills
· Although homeworking is possible, we work closely together as a team, predominantly onsite at our offices. Please note therefore a domicile close to our office in Lier is strongly advised.
· You get a full-time contract with a competitive salary package and other fringe benefits
