Functieomschrijving
You are responsible for planning the bookings for cargo, for making the volume calculations and for drawing up the quotations:
- Daily coordination and optimization of airfreight Capacity
- Propose volume steering / Changes when trends occur
- Obtain competitive rates from airlines
- Timely response of bookings & requests
- Timely increases / cancellations and reductions / returns of Capacity
- Irregularity Report follow up (Planning items)
- Handover of instructions to other departments
- Booking shipments through various platforms
Profiel
As our new capacity planner airfreight, you recognize yourself in following aspects:
- Profound airfreight forwarding knowledge - Minimum 1-2 years of experience
- You have an Excellent knowledge of English, other languages are considered a big plus
- Airfreight consolidation (ULD / flight level) expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers
- Operational and analytical skills
- Creative and financially/service driven.
- Customer oriented
- Airfreight Security awareness
- You are stress-resistant, flexible and a real problem-solver
