Business Strategic Insight Analyst

What if you could build the strategic intelligence engine that drives key decisions at Equans Belux?
In this role, you create a central Strategic Insight Office that becomes the backbone of business decisions. You work with autonomy, visibility, and innovative tools to turn data into real impact.
Your Equans base: Brussels.
Zoom on the job:
- build the Business Strategic Insight Office and its structured repository (reports, benchmarks, providers, associations)
- act as the central point of contact for strategic and technology-related insights
- take ownership of selected strategic priorities, from analysis to final report
- use AI and advanced analytics to synthesize information from public sources, industry reports, and technology benchmarks
- develop data models and reporting frameworks integrating internal data with external market and technology intelligence
- manage and expand relationships with analysts, research agencies, technology partners, and industry associations
- contribute to technology reviews, partner assessments, and innovation scans (HVAC, robotics, e-boilers, renewable technologies, smart systems,…)
- monitor competitor actions, regulatory changes, market trends, and emerging technologies
- support strategic planning, M&A assessments, and business development with actionable insights
- share knowledge and best practices across the organization
- manage a dedicated budget to strengthen the insight ecosystem
- report directly to the Head of Strategy & Business Development
Profiel
Come as you are, ideally with:
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, data analytics, or a related field
- strong analytical and research capabilities
- familiarity with AI tools, data modelling, and visualization platforms
- ability to work with large and diverse datasets
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
- collaborative mindset and strong sense of initiative
- business-driven and critical thinker
- fluent in French and Dutch; English is an asset
