Business Development Manager
Functieomschrijving
You hold a Masters or PhD degree in Industrial Biotechnology or related.
You have minimum 5 years experience in the industrial biotechnology sector.
You have affinity and experience with research and development projects for industrial biotech processes or related.
You have a technical background and process experience, combined with a marketing and business sense.
You have an internationally oriented profile and communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of Dutch, French or German is an asset, not a must.
You are very well organised.
You are a true team player.
Profiel
Prospecting of new projects by attendance of brokerage events and conferences.
Preparation of tailored proposals that fits the customer needs whilst meeting BBEPP's feasbility criteria.
Management, reporting and administration of your ordered projects.
Supporting the further finetuing of the general business strategy and creating new business opportunties.
Strong interaction with the other members of the project acquisition team and the project execution team.
Opportunity to move into a team leadership position.
Preferably you work on site. Remote options can be discussed depending on proximity to major EU or US ecosystems.
